I support and guide families in creating a bespoke Celebration of Life for their loved ones. We spend time in an initial face-to-face meeting followed by phone calls and correspondence via WhatsApp or email to ensure that the service reflects the person’s life and ideals as well as giving family and friends the chance to have time to reflect on their memories and say goodbye in a safe and relaxed space, whether at a burial, in a crematorium or maybe another place such as a village hall.

I am an independent Celebrant and have been trained by The Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. I work with families on the full range of services: those that have religious elements, a touch of religion or no religion at all. I have also collaborated with leaders of different faiths to deliver services that are fitting for the person.

I often write the Eulogy for the family: working to reassure them and creating the full service script based on what they choose: the music, songs, readings and tributes that reflect their loved one’s life.

Or it may be that you are nearing the end of your life and would like to plan your goodbye. I would be privileged to create that alongside you; giving you the opportunity to prepare your own funeral service.

2025: A Graveside or Cremation Service is priced at £230 for Leicester and Leicestershire. I also conduct interment or scattering of ashes and memorial services.
